Maury brings more than three decades of experience from the commercialand civic sectors, spanning journalism, market research, andexperience design. As a former executive and entrepreneur, hespecialized in decoding human motivation and building high-trustengagement strategies for complex organizations. Maury views theprivate sector as a vital laboratory for innovation andresults-oriented leadership, applying those same rigorous disciplinesto the work of national depolarization. His focus remains on shiftingcivic culture by turning deep human insights into scalable, collectiveaction.
Before his appointment as CEO, Maury served as a dedicated volunteerand moderator for five years, notably leading bipartisan legislativeinitiatives through Braver Politics. His transition from the "field"to the executive office reflects his commitment to scaling the toolsof bridge-building to every corner of the country.
A Republican ("Red") based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Maury is a husbandand father of ten in a blended family. When he isn’t leading nationalmovements, he can be found volunteering with CASA, serving in hischurch, or refereeing high school football games—an ongoing practicein maintaining fairness, discipline, and calm under pressure.
