In partnership with George Washington’s Mount Vernon, More Perfect launched its nationwide Conversations on Character series with a lecture from Co-Chair General (Ret.) Stanley McChrystal. This timely event coincides with the launch of his book, On Character, a compelling call to Americans to examine personal integrity, resilience, service, and the core values that define our nation.
More Perfect - a nonpartisan alliance of 37 Presidential Centers and over 100 civic partners - is launching Conversations on Character to spark reflection and dialogue about the values that shape our individual and collective identity. It aims to ignite discussions in communities, schools, nonprofits, faith-based institutions, businesses and governments on how our beliefs and behaviors reflect our personal and national character. The initiative is grounded in the belief that democracy depends on citizens cultivating “Constitutional Character.”
